Global Bridges Scholars
Affordable college credit and degree* options available!
The Global Bridges Scholars program is a transformative journey that equips students with purpose, character, and vision for to bring hope and restoration where it is needed most.
Global Bridges and Hartwell Quest are non-denominational initiatives committed to compassion, education grounded in purpose, and enduring hope. We work alongside trusted partners and affirm principles of faith, integrity, and service that unite communities across traditions while remaining safe and respectful in restricted regions.
Education & Outreach
The Global Bridges Scholars program is a bridge to affordable college credit and degrees* via transfer, dual credit, or dual enrollment with a number Christian institutions.
HQ Smart Courses and certificates are online, asynchronous, and convey a solid biblical worldview.
Students can make local church or charity involvement part of this fellowship program, as well as global outreaches and other volunteer or ministry experiences.

Choose from Two Options
The options below for Global Bridges Scholars can open doors to a lifetime of opportunity. Select what works best for you!
Option 1
Credit Transfer or Dual Diploma!
Complete HQ Smart Courses or certificates with the ability to transfer them into the degree of your choice at a multitude of accredited institutions.
Alternatively, you can earn an entire degree through dual credit with select institutions while paying low HQ tuition and fees for the vast majority of your program.
Option 2
Dual Enrollment + Hartwell Fellowship!
As a Global Bridges Scholar, you can enroll into an academic degree from one of our select accredited partners.
This option enables you to earn live academic credit through dual enrollment and makes generous scholarships and grants available to eligible students to help pay for non-academic fellowship and ministry costs.
HQ Grants Available!
We believe Global Bridges Scholars will impact your life and the world! Because of this, we offer a “hand up” through strategic grants on your quest to fulfill God’s dreams for you before, during, and after your program experience.
Hartwell Scholar Awards
Up to $300 in Awards for Option 1!
Hartwell Scholar Awards are available for qualifying Global Bridges Scholars who choose Option 1 above. Visit the Global Bridges Grants page linked below for more information!
Global Bridges Awards
Up to $2,500 in Awards for Option 2!
Global Bridges Awards are available for qualifying students who select Option 2 above. Visit the Global Bridges Grants page linked below for more information!
Summary
To recap, the major opportunities for students participating in the Global Bridges Scholars program are:
- Affordable online classes in a wide array of subjects taught from a biblical worldview.
- Credit transferability into a growing number of accredited institutions (up to 90 credits in transfer toward a bachelor’s degree) through HQ’s unique credit-transfer or transcription scenarios.
- Optional enrollment into degree programs* at accredited institutions through dual diploma (option 1 above) or live academic credit (option 2 aboce).
- Generous grants for Global Bridges Scholars.
